2017
The island of the Reunion. Mobilization to stop abandonment, the fight against the Prefecture’s plans to deal with stray animals in the Reunion Island: One Voice seized the courts to save cats targeted by a vast plan of poisoning and of using snares under the guise of regulation.
2012
Launch of our campaign for donkeys in Brazil. An export trade agreement with China is stopped thanks to an international campaign. One Voice starts a long-term project with the Paola Rodrigues refuge to rescue and rehabilitate Brazilian donkeys.
2010
One Voice is the only French organization to join ARCH, a coalition of international groups that goes in to rescue animals after a severe earthquake devastated Haiti. In partnership with the government, its action averts epidemics of zoonoses, animal borne diseases that are also a danger to humans.
2007
An investigation in China prior to the Olympics reveals the fate of zoo animals and dogs and cats turned into meat.
2007
We fund rescue teams and urgent medical supplies to save domestic and wild animals threatened by floods in the Kaziranga national park in India.
2007
One Voice organises and entirely funds the purchase of land, the building of a refuge and a clinic in Darjeeling in India, where dogs take the blame for all sorts of ills. An education and rabies vaccination programme, by agreement with the local council and in partnership with the local Darjeeling Goodwill Animal Shelter, puts an end to their poisoning.
2005
Following the tsunami, our interventions continue. A refuge set up in Port Blair in India is able to house and feed stray animals which are sterilised and released when their health permits. In Sri Lanka, One Voice helps the Turtle Conservation Project to rebuild its marine sanctuary which had been wrecked. In Thailand our team comes to the aid of stray dogs which were surviving on the charity of tourists.
2004
Creation of our Solidarity Action Fund to finance urgent interventions. Barely a fortnight later it allows our vets to be on the ground after the tsunami that devastated south Asia.
1998
One Voice/Talis goes into action alongside PETA and other organizations worldwide for dogs in Taiwan and organizes an awareness raising demo in Paris. The campaign is supported by numerous celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Kim Basinger, Michelle Pfeiffer, Peter Falk, Burt Reynolds, Oliver Stone, Jacky Chan, Steven Seagal, Alec Baldwin and many more. The international campaign results in the passing of the first animal protection law in the country and important measures to stop the culling of stray dogs.
