One Voice releases new images of its several month undercover investigation into French angora rabbit farms. The campaign is relayed by media across the world. A petition is launched and a complaint is filed against one of the rabbit farmers who admitted selling cancerous rabbits to a laboratory.

Launch in China with ACTAsia of the Caring for Life programme to educate young people about kindness towards all forms of life. The involvement of Kiki, a seven-year-old Chinese girl who distributed No Fur China badges to her schoolmates and explained why they should avoid fur, soon inspires others to do the same. Her school becomes a pilot institution for the programme and Kiki receives the title of best ambassador for Caring for Life !

One Voice rescued 33 chinchillas from a Croatian fur farm and and secured its closure. We continued our investigation in France of two mink farms and exposed the horrific conditions.

In October 2002, the Charlie Hebdo cartoonist Cabu was with us in our campaign to save the seals. It was he who handed over 19,493 signatures to representatives of the Canadian embassy.

One Voice supported the work of Katherine Pradeau in 2002. This young designer received very few commissions because she refused to use fur. Her models wore our anti-fur badges at fashion shows and our message appeared on the invitations.
