Our method of operation
One Voice is an organisation governed by a board of four people.
The members of the executive committee (president, vice-president, general secretary and treasurer) guarantee compliance with the association’s articles of association and the continuity and stability of One Voice.
The decisions taken by the management team are consistent with the horizons set out by the board, and are implemented in collaboration with thirteen salaried employees and a network of volunteer activists, coordinated and organised into local branches.
Non-violent warriors
Our structure is stable, continuous and bound by collective responsibilities. Our associative values are perfectly in line with our ethic of compassion for others, whether in our activities or in our internal management.
Non-violent communication is the basis of inter-professional and inter-human relations for all the association’s employees. We are aware that the association’s missions require a great deal of energy, and that interpersonal support is essential. Our team values respect, courage, confidentiality and solidarity.
All of One Voice’s activities are aimed at improving the situation for the weakest members of society by aiming for a better future for all, and are aligned with our convictions based on consideration for all sentient beings and protection of the environment.
Integrity, independence, freedom of speech
We receive no subsidies and operate solely on the basis of your generosity, which gives us complete freedom of speech and action.
The annual accounts (balance sheet and profit and loss account) are validated by an auditor, itself audited by the Haut Conseil au Commissariat aux Comptes, and approved by the General Meeting.
The status and justification of expenses incurred by One Voice, as well as the status of resources collected, are regularly monitored by the President and Treasurer.
Annual General Meeting
One Voice is an independent organisation that operates solely thanks to the generosity of its donors.
The main roles of the General Meeting :
- To elect the members of the Bureau, whose mandate is voted for 3 years;
- Approve the annual report, the accounts for the financial year and the auditor’s reports.
