Underground hunting tears the animals from their burrows before the sacrifice

A type of hunting with inflated rituals and arrogance.

This mode of hunting which is rather confidential has more and more followers. It is a practice of extreme violence. It consists of driving the badger, the fox or thecoypu, to the bottom of its burrow. To assist them, the diggers use dogs such as dachshunds, fox terriers or Jack Russell’s, which they drop into the "mouth" of the burrow. The cry of the dogs helps to locate their victim. With the help of probes, pickaxes or crowbars, they destroy the animal's home before catching it with large metal tongs and killing it with a dagger, rifle or heel. The corpse is thrown to the dogs. The digging can last up to eight hours. Eight hours of terror and appalling stress, plus dog bites. The cruelty of these architects of massacre is limitless.

Hunting in organized groups

We should no longer accept these ridiculous claims that they are helping to regulate nature or to safeguard the equilibrium of the wildlife, we have read enough of this nonsense, to defend the indefensible. These gentlemen, with dagger in hand, who destroy in "teams", their so-called gangs. More than 1500 teams exist in the country. They meet disguised as gentlemen-farmers, their age-old tradition slung over their shoulders, unearthing their loot and committing their felonies. Paraphrasing someone famous who wrote dialogues, “if the hunters could fly, the huntsmen would be squadron leaders”. Is violence nobler when it is disguised as a form of patrimonial hunting? The underground hunt is nothing more than a violation of the homes of frightened animals who, for hours on end, are stuck at the bottom of their burrows, enduring the howling of the dogs and the strikes of the pickaxes which are demolishing their home and refuge of their little ones.

Foxes, badgers or nutria (coypu), tens of thousands of victims a year.

If we were not dealing with killers, we could almost laugh at seeing the pictures they publish. Congregated around a burrow as in a sacrificial rite with a hunting score board, the poor fragile corpses. Here again our country has a terrifying backwardness in respect of animal life, many European countries protect these species, especially the badger. Will France always be one massacre too late?

One Voice calls for the abolition of underground hunting, as well as all other forms of hunting.

Whether underground hunting exists since the 16th or 17th century or hunting as in our old practices, nobody’s remotely thinking of denying it. Never the less the knowledge that we have acquired over a few centuries is that the sententious of beings such as animals obliges us to no longer be these hapless gunslingers. Looking at our past behaviour, the idiot is forging a tradition, the person abled with reasoning sketches himself a future. Organized gang killing is not part of it and is no longer part of it.

Au nom de quoi les hommes s'arrogent-ils le droit d'exterminer certains animaux ???
Parce qu'ils seraient nuisibles ??? Allons donc !
S'il y a une espèce qui est hautement nuisible, c'est bien l'espèce humaine, qui depuis son apparition sur cette planète, n'a cessé de provoquer la disparition des animaux, délibérément, ou non, et de détruire des forêts, etc.
Ces animaux étaient là bien avant nous, et ce sont eux les véritables possesseurs de cette planète, car eux contribuent à la préservation de l'écosystème, contrairement aux humains.

MERCI INFINIMENT ONE VOICE et comme je vous soutiens ! La France est en retard sur tout et nous le savons mais concernant la cause animale et donc la protection et défense de tous les animaux quels qu'ils soient et dans tous domaines, elle est la première et championne. Il est véritablement impossible et ahurissant si ce n'est REVOLTANT ET INACCEPTABLE de continuer ainsi. Les humains doivent comprendre qu'ils ne sont pas supérieurs à qui que ce soit sur cette planète, mais aussi qu'ils ne sont "que de passage" et voués à disparaître un jour" comme tous nos frères les animaux ETRES VIVANTS comme nous avec les mêmes besoins et envies qui ne sont certainement pas DE D ETRE MALTRAITES, TORTURES ET MOURIR pour l'espèce humaine. Il est également très choquant qu'à l'ère où nous sommes nos politiques ne se penchent ni ne s'engagent et s'intéressent davantage aux animaux, à leurs vies, à leurs conditions de vie, à leurs exploitations plus qu'immondes et ignobles et non digne d'un humain, à leurs tortures et maltraitances au quotidien tout simplement parce qu'ils n'ont pas le pouvoir de parler et donc de voter...................................................
Comment peut on avoir confiance en de tels individus pour qui la vie animale ne vaut rien et n'est rien en restant totalement indifférents aux cris d'une population toujours plus importante qui revendique LE GRAND RESPECT ET CONSIDERATION DES ANIMAUX mais aussi L INTERDICTION DEFINITIVE DE LES EXPLOITER ET LES UTILISER POUR LES BESOINS HUMAINS comme s'il s'agissait de simples "marchandises et produits ou objets". La France ne peut absolument pas prétendre à avoir du civisme, de la grandeur et des valeurs de la façon dont elle traite et se comporte à l'égard des autres êtres vivants.
Je suis très très triste et bouleversée car nous devons tout faire afin que cette forme de chasse tout comme les autres soient interdites définitivement, les animaux n'ont pas à payer de leurs vies pour toutes les cruautés inimaginables et odieuses des humains, je plonge mon regard dans celui de mes chats ou autres animaux et je lis et vois beaucoup d'émotions, de ressentis, de sensibilité et une très grande intelligence et c'est à fendre le coeur vraiment, tant de belles choses que je vois très rarement dans le regard de la plupart des humains dont ceux qui persécutent sans aucun remord ni scrupule les animaux.
