Stopping the transport of primates with Air France: we want more information

At the end of June, the Twitter account for Air France Newsroom announced Air France’s decision to stop transporting primates for laboratories until the end of its current contracts. An historic commitment, which was limited to just a tweet. We have written to the airline company and still have not had a reply. Ask Air France to confirm the conditions of their commitment alongside us.

A series of innovations for primates in 2022: after Air France’s announcement and the ban on using primates born to captive parents from November 2022, we recently learnt the classification of crab-eating macaques (the primates most used in laboratories) is in the ‘endangered’ category of the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s red list. A combination of factors that frighten animal testing lobbies.

Despite this news, Air France has not responded to our letter from 1 July 2022, in which we asked for a meeting with their services in order to better understand the context and the conditions of their historic decision concerning the transport of primates.

Avant de s'attaquer aux compagnies aériennes je pense qu'il faudrait que les gouvernements des pays d'exportation prennent des sanctions vis-à-vis des piégeurs. Combien sont-ils payés pour ce "travail" ? et les compagnies aériennes parce que le transport aérien pollue et le déplacement d'un avion a un prix.
Je réponds à JADA et en France dans certains abattoirs ce n'est pas mieux et aussi pire.

Les paroles c’est bien mais les actes c’est mieux. Il faut que la compagnie respecte sa décision de ne plus transporter ces pauvres animaux et qu’elle ne change pas d’avis .

STOP au transport de singes pour les laboratoires.
STOP à l'expérimentation animale.
Les pratiques barbares et excessivement douloureuses qui leur sont infligées et qui génèrent des souffrances inouïes relèvent de la maltraitance animale et sont intolérables. A ce titre, l'expérimentation animale doit être définitivement bannie ! A quel siècle vivons-nous pour accepter de perpétrer ce type d'expérimentation ? Alors les scientifiques totalement dénués de compassion envers la souffrance animale, qu'en est-il de votre conscience ? Réveillez-vous et refusez fermement de continuer à participer à cette odieuse souffrance animale.

il faut confirmer officiellement votre annonce de mettre fin aux transports des pauvres singes capturés et expédiés pour être suppliciés dans les laboratoires....et vous y tenir....
