Of all ages and all from France, the defenders of Greyhounds but also of Galgos came in support of these poor farmed Greyhounds. Cruelly trained and sometimes even drugged for the races in Great Britain they are resold without hesitation to countries which then transform them into meat, in unspeakable conditions.

One Voice with the support of Celtic Grey hounds and Co who were also in action in Perpignan for the same cause, The Voice of Greyhounds, Greyhounds without Borders, A History of Galgos, Association GALGOS, Greyhound My Love, CREL, Greyhounds and Company, Esperanto Greyhounds, Greyhounds Martyrs, Galgos Ethic Europe rose up against this scandal. So we were all, humans and dogs together, to support this fight at Place des Vosges, near the house of Victor Hugo, man, it must be remembered, committed for all the oppressed.

Thank you all for coming, thank you for the many messages and testimonials of support.

In London at the same time, the defenders of these victims, CAGED Nation Wide, Birmingham Greyhound Protection and Pet Levrieri, had organized an action before the Greyhound Board of Great Britain to demand the end of this exploitation and of exports. In a word, respect for greyhounds.

The fight does not stop there! We will demonstrate on March 24th between the embassies of Spain and the United Kingdom. See you at 2 pm, Pont de l'Alma, near Zouave.

Merci pour votre combat, mais à part crier nos consternations, comment faire plier, plus mobiliser, plus de responsabilités les citoyens ! Il n y a pas de pays civilisé... Quel combat entamer ? quels actions ? Il faut pourtant continuer malgré la surdité des politiques, il faut peut être aussi interpeller les députés ??? Mais sans espoir !

Quelle horreur! Les humains sont ignobles. Il faut que cette pratique cruelle et lâche cesse.

Ces procédés ignobles devraient bien entendu être interdits hélas il y a tellement d'argent derrière la souffrance de ces chiens que tant que les gouvernants ne seront pas sensibilisés il y aura encore de la maltraitance. Perso j'ai un merveilleux lévrier qui vient d'Irlande, il a 9 ans et il est d'une sensibilité incroyable, affectueux, j'ai eu d'autres races merveilleuses aussi mais le lévrier est particulier et est très attachant. Ils ne méritent pas ces maltraitances ou plus exactement ces barbaries (aucun animal ne devrait vivre ces atrocités) et les punitions devraient être exemplaires.

Nous sommes sensés être des gens civilisés des êtres humains comme on nous appelle et cependant comme t des êtres Humains peuvent ils encore capables de s adonner à de telles cruautés, et comment des êtres humains peuvent ils accepter que de telles cruautés puisse encore se perpétuer dans nos pays,il faut absolument poursuivre le combat, mais il faudrait encore mieux gagner ce combat, malheureusement il y a la encore tellement d argent en jeu dans ces pratiques barbares, la encore la cruauté de certains et source de bénéfices bien souvent avec l approbation de nos gouvernements ou de certains qui en font partie, l argent n a pas d odeur pas même celle du sang
