Stalking: a moment of stress for animals
British scientists have examined samples of deer blood shot with rifles to compare with those killed during a hunt. The results show a high concentration of cortisol and damage to the white blood cells. In other words, the animals experienced significant physiological and psychological stress during the flight. Following these results, the United Kingdom decided to ban this practice to avoid the suffering of animals.
