Processing of personal data
When you visit our website, you may be asked to provide a certain amount of personal data.
The protection of your personal data is a priority for our association.
The information collected in this way is recorded by the data controller in a computerized file for use exclusively within the association, in order to better respond to your requests and to enable our association to fulfill its mission.
This data is kept for the time required to process your requests, and for a minimum of 3 years unless you expressly request otherwise.
What do we use your personal data for?
a. The information collected on this site is recorded in one or more files computerized by One Voice to process your requests.
Your personal data may be used by the association :
- to send you information on the association’s news and campaigns,
- to be invited to meetings or conferences,
- for membership applications,
- to receive appeals for generosity in various forms: calls for donations, information on bequests and life insurance contracts,
- to sign petitions.
b. To serve our statutory purpose:
The purpose of using your data is to serve the objectives of the One Voice association as they result from its statutory purpose and in particular:
- To protect and defend animals, whatever the species to which they belong, and whatever their legal status, to promote respect for their needs, dignity and rights, and to obtain recognition of the legal personality of animals and the inclusion of their fundamental rights in the French constitution and in international and European bodies.
- Fight against all forms of exploitation of animals and all forms of moral or physical violence against them.
- To protect and defend the environment and living organisms, in particular nature, flora and fauna, water, air, soil, forests, sites and landscapes and, more generally, all ecosystems, and to fight against pollution, nuisance and any attack on biodiversity, and to obtain recognition of the legal personality of major ecosystems.
- To defend the rights of humans and children to respect, freedom, health and life, and to work towards a new relationship between humans and living beings, particularly animals and nature.
- To assist, protect and defend whistle-blowers working in the field of its object.
- To defend the rights of ethical consumers with regard to animals, nature and living things, and in particular to work for the respect and protection of the dietary choices of vegetarians and vegans.
What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act and the European Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: you may obtain information concerning the processing of your personal data, as well as a copy of said data.
- Right of rectification: if you consider that your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that it be amended accordingly.
- Right to erasure: you may demand the erasure of your personal data to the extent permitted by the regulations governing the processing of your personal data.
- Right to object: you may object to the processing of your personal data for reasons relating to your particular situation. You have an absolute right to object to the processing of your personal data for commercial prospecting purposes, including the profiling associated with such prospecting.
- Right to data portability: where this right applies, you have the right to have the personal data you have provided us with returned to you or, where technically possible, transferred to a third party;
- The right to define directives concerning the conservation, deletion or communication of your personal data, applicable after your death.
- Right to withdraw your consent: if you have given your consent to the processing of personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

In accordance with applicable regulations, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority such as the CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés) in France.
